“For me, this experience has a particularly beautiful quality because it is not simply two massages performed at the same time. It is about creating a moment of connection between a mother, father or responsible adult and their child in an environment where both can slow down.

Before beginning, I like to understand whether this is the child’s or young person’s first spa experience and whether they feel curious, shy or have any preferences. The welcome is very important because comfort begins with the way we explain what will happen and give each person enough space to feel at ease.

The touch during this massage should be gentle, calm and adapted. The focus is on relaxation, ease and the creation of a safe environment. I also pay close attention to each person’s pace: some children are more communicative, while others are quieter, and some adults arrive hoping to turn the occasion into a special memory.

The most important detail is to respect both experiences. They are together, but each body has its own comfort level, sensitivity and timing. The aim is for them to leave with a sense of calm, closeness and connection.

I like to think of this ritual as a pause for the family: simple, carefully prepared time in which the spa becomes a space for sharing.”
