“For me, this treatment always begins with a careful reading of the skin. Before applying any product, I observe how the skin looks that day: whether it is more dehydrated, sensitised, dull or congested, or has a particular concern that requires greater attention.

This initial assessment is what makes the ritual genuinely personalised. Two people may choose the same treatment, but each person’s skin will require a different path. Some clients need more comfort and nourishment, while others require freshness, balance or radiance. The important thing is never to treat the skin automatically.

Karin Herzog offers a very interesting approach through active oxygen. During the treatment, we combine cleansing, toning, exfoliation and oxygenation with products selected according to the condition of the skin and the client’s priorities. The aim is to create the feeling of cleaner, fresher, better-cared-for and more comfortable skin.

I also like to explain each stage, particularly when the client arrives with questions or more reactive skin. The touch should be precise but delicate, and the pace must always respect the sensitivity of the face.
